Meet Joanna Yu, DDS
Why Orthodontics?
Dr. Joanna Yu is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles through orthodontics. She’s happy to serve patients of all ages in Portland, Windham, and the surrounding communities.
Education and Professional Memberships
Dr. Yu graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated with the highest honors.
She then completed orthodontic specialty training at Tufts. Dr. Yu is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Maine Dental Association.
Outside of the Office
Dr. Yu lives in Falmouth with her husband, Dr. Alex Mazurenko, and their two sons, Vincent and Adrian. She enjoys traveling, pilates, running, and spending time with family and friends.
